4-H Awards Night A Success

Congratulations to our Randolph County 4-H Members who were recognized in February for achievements in 4-H in the past year! Mickey Jo Grubb received the Spirit of Kristina Jarrell Award. Sigmund Platt received the annual Friend of 4-H Award and Angie Chapman received the Sig McCain Volunteer Leader Award!

Representative Pat Hurley, Mayor David Smith and Randolph County Manager Richard Wells were on hand to congratulate the membership. Angel Simpson, was our emcee for the evening!

Youth receiving recognition for record book completion included:Will, Avery and Riley Goodwin, Preston Long, Grayson and Zoe Roberts, Garrett and Kaley Allred, Hayden Thomas, Jesse, Rachel and Shenandoah Osborne, Mackenzie Koenig, Kaeli Chapman, Evan Gunter and Joshua and Laura Allred


Three clubs were presented a diversity award including the Randleman Outdoor Club, SHARE Club and the Country Kids Livestock Club! Club members nominated for outstanding growth included: Wyatt Yow, Faith King, Will Cox, Antonio Chavez, Matthew Odom, Emma Cheek, Demarkus Shelton, Katharyn Eller, Tabor Baughan, Kimberly Chapman, Eric Walden, Berenice Franco, Laura Jane Allred, Cori Hicks, Angel Simpson and Bryant West. 

4-H club leaders receiving recognition for outstanding service include: Kisty Goodwin, Marjie Grubb, Kathryn Simpson, James Long and Adrianna Paschal. Jean Volrath, installed the 4-H club officers to end a very awesome evening.
