Project Record and Cumulative Record Results Announced

4-H members keeping project records and submitting them for district and state competition have recently received their award results.

Southeast Dairy Youth Retreat Participants

4-H members from Randolph County are busy preparing for a trip to Virgina Tech, Blacksburg VA, to participate in the annual Dairy Youth Retreat July 5 - 7, 2009.

The following members will represent Randolph County:
Evan Gunter, Mickey Jo Grubb, Taylor Grubb and Adam Frazier. Special thanks to Marjie Grubb for chaperoning this great group of young 4-H'ers!

2009 Dairy Quiz Bowl Results

At the State Dairy Quiz Bowl Competition, held in Iredell County, the FCS Holy Cows placed first in the junior division, Randolph/Guilford placed 2nd in the junior division and the Randolph/Chatham team placed 3rd in the senior division. In the State Dairy Skillathon Competition Randolph/Guilford placed 1st in the junior division and the Randolph/Chatham placed 3rd in the senior division. FCS Holy Cows Team: Mickey Jo Grubb, DJ Hayes, Coby Kivett and Bryson Staley. Randolph County participants for the Randolph/Guilford Team were Rachel Osborne, Kristin Morgan, Jesse Osborne and Connor Beeson; Randolph County Participants for the Randolph/Chatham Team: Elmer York and Ryan Beeson. A special thanks to Marjie Grubb, Heather Wright and Jason Wright for all their hard work to prepare these youth!

Archdale, 4-H Summer Adventure Classes Announced

Registration will begin on Thursday night, June 11 for 4-H classes to be held in Archdale, NC in June, July and August! Join us from 5 - 7:00 pm to register your child.

Classes will be held at the Archdale United Methodist Church on 11543 Main Street in Archdale unless otherwise noted.

Brenda Eurillo, Summer 4-H Program Coordinator will supervise all classes in Archdale.

4-H Summer Adventure Programs in Liberty

Registrations are now open for the 4-H summer adventure programs being offered in Liberty, NC. These classes will be coordinated by Naomi Pendleton, 4-H Summer Program Coordinator.

The classes will be held on site, at the Elementary School in Liberty.

All participants must fill out participation registration materials in addition to health forms.

Registration will continue until all classes are filled.
