Randolph County 4-H Canine Club Organizes

Are you looking for a 4-H club with a "dog" focus. well this new Randolph County 4-H Club may be the right one for you. Heidi Mitchell, is coordinating the club and is holding a second organizational meeting on February 22 beginning at 3:00 PM.

Wildlife Evaluation Program

Extension Forestry will be hosting the 2014 Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program (WHEP) on May 3, 2014, at Carolina Beach State Park, in New Hanover County.

The contest memo and registration form can be found as attachments to this email, or online at go.ncsu.edu/extensionforestry4h.  Registration deadline for teams and/or individuals is April 11, 2014.

All the materials needed for the WHEP contest can be found online.

Washington D.C. Trip Opportunity

Randolph Electric Membership Corporation Opportunity! 

Rising high school juniors and seniors (current sophomores and juniors) in our area have a unique opportunity for an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC, this summer where they can see democracy in action, meet their representatives, visit historical sites, and learn more about how cooperative businesses work. In early April, one application will be selected for an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. the week of June 14-20, 2014.

Welcome to 4-H in 2014

2014 is here and we need you! 

Please join this high energy program designed to assist youth in developing skills in decision making, citizenship, leadership, communication, record-keeping, managing resources, teamwork, and more!

4-H is a program for youth 5 - 18 years of age. You may join a community club or register as a Member At Large, either way, you will benefit by joining our team!

4-H members have fun, study subjects that are of interest to them and share their knowledge with others. 4-H members participate in public speaking, food shows, state fair, youth fair, 4-H talent show, 4-H fashion show and so much more.

If this sounds like fun to you call us at 318-6000 and visit with us about starting a club in your neighborhood.
