The 2012 State 4-H Awards Handbook is available.
4-H families can learn information about recognition and awards available for youth participating in district and state 4-H events in livestock, presentations, record keeping and leadership events.

Central Carolina Livestock Show
Are you a 4-H club member interested in showing one of the following animals at a livestock show:
B – beef heifer
D – dairy goat doe
E – breeding ewe
F – feeder steer
G – market goat
H – market hog
L – market lamb
M – meat goat doe
P – pen of 3 hogs (list each hog on a separate line)
S – market steer
If you have an interest in any of these areas, the Central Carolina Livestock Show may be of interest to you.
The show is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11 & Thursday, April 12 at the Central Carolina Holstein Barn on Orange Grove Road in Hillsborough

DEADLINE TO PARTICIPATE IS MONDAY, MARCH 12. Call us and we can send you are registration packet with all applicable forms.

4-H Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program
2012 NC WHEP Contest
It is time to begin registering teams for the North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program (WHEP). The contest will be held on May 5, 2012, at Crowders Mountain State Park in Gaston County. The first place senior team will have the opportunity to represent North Carolina at the National WHEP Invitational in Texas.
