Super Sharp Shooting Stars Compete!

Congratulations to Kimmi Faircloth and Blair Faulkner for competing in the National 4-H Shooting Sports Competition in San Antonio Texas in June.

District Activity Day

Randolph County 4-H was the HOST for the 2011 North Central District Activity Day! The event drew 375 people, youth and families from across the 17 counties in our district. Congratulations to the following youth for participating:
Tyke, Monica and CJ Stickler, Rachel and Shenandoah Osborne, Hayden Thomas, Josh and Laura Allred and Bryant West! We are proud of all of them.

Country Kids 4-H Club Yard SALE

Don't forget the Country Kids 4-H Club will be hosting their Annual Yard Sale along with a delicious bake sale to raise money for their 4-H club. This event is scheduled for Saturday May 14 at New Market School! COME EARLY for the best bargains. For more information, give us a call, 336-318-6000.

Basic School Age Care Class

Reminder: Saturday, May 7, we will have a Basic School Age Care Class offered at North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Randolph County Center, located at 112 West Walker Avenue in Asheboro. The class is five hours from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Cost to participate is just $15. A light breakfast will be served.

NC Junior Beef Roundup

Did you know that the NC Junior Beef Roundup will be held on June 4-5?
This event will be held at the NC State Fairgrounds, and is open to any youth. This includes a Skillathon Contest, Poster Contest, Photography Contest, Ultimate Heifer Makeover, Showmanship, Breeding Heifer and Market Steer Show. Youth do not have to be exhibiting cattle to participate in the Skillathon, Poster, or Photography Contest.
