FINNISH Exchange through Finland 4-H!
This is a program designed for youth 15 to 19 years of age. It offers young people the opportunty to live with an American family for four weeks beginning in mid-June through mid-July. Host families must have a child of the same gender and within 2 years of the same age as the Finnishe exchange student. Families without children who would like to host may host a chaperone. Host families provide all meals, supervision, transportation to/from the pick-up point, a bed (students do not need to have their own room), and love and support. Families must fill out an application, undergo an in-home interview and if selected attend required orientation trainings.

JAPANESE Exchange through LABO!

Cooperative Extension Center Closed
Our Randolph County Cooperative Extension Center is closed today through March 4, so that we may move our office.
We have been busy packing and organizing our offices for this big move.

Honors Night a Success!
Wow, what a night we had! A great time was had by all! We enjoyed honoring some very important people including Ms. Sig McCain, longtime 4-H volunteer leader! We honored Mr. Donovan Davis from Randolph County Emergency Management and we honored Ms. Dawn Cheek, 4-H Office Assistant for her special work with 4-H!
We enjoyed a delicious Italian Dinner followed by more awards. We even completed a community service project during honors night.
Each club collected new hats to be give to the Randolph Cancer Center. These hats can be worn by cancer patients in Randolph County!
Special Thanks to Jody Terry, 4-H Program Assistant for all her work in coordinating a lovely evening.

Don't forget, if you plan to participate in the cumulative record competition, your record is due this Wednesday, February 27. We will sign them and send them to Raleigh for you. If you miss this deadline, you will have to wait one more year to participate!
