4-H Horse Upcoming Events
The Spring Holiday Classic Open Horse Show which is a fundraiser for our North Central District 4-H horse program and the NCSU Western Riding Team will be held on April 20 - 21 in Raleigh. Please help sell sponsorships as well as volunteer! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Richard Isley at 336-908-3302.
Our District 4-H Horse Show will be on May 18-19 in Raleigh. All forms are now available and can be found at: http://rockingham.ces.ncsu.Entry forms must be postmarked by April 26 in order to avoid a late fee

Fur Fish and Game Camp
Each year, 4-H is proud to offer Fur Fish and Game camp to local 4-H members interested in environmental sciences.
Camp will be held July 7 - 12 at Millstone 4-H Camp in Ellerbe, NC
This camp is designed to give participants a better understanding of our natural resources and
how we interact with them. The camp is limited to 85 campers in order to ensure that each camper has an opportunity to participate and interact in a very personalized setting

Registration for both sections of Fur, Fish, & Game should be completed online by clicking here.
Registration will be open until July 1; however, interested campers should register
as soon as possible to ensure a spot at camp.

4-H members perform at 4-H Honors Night!
Several 4-H members performed at the annual 4-H Honor's Night Celebration. The following club members delivered high quality entertainment
including: Nicholas Pascal on the piano, Allessandra Necoechea a vocal solo, Bryant West on the piano, Mackenzie
Koenig guitar and vocal solo, Rachel Osborne on the piano and the STIX performance team from the SHARE 4-H Club.
4-H Awards Night A Success
Congratulations to our Randolph County 4-H Members who were recognized in February for achievements in 4-H in the past year! Mickey Jo Grubb received the Spirit of Kristina Jarrell Award. Sigmund Platt received the annual Friend of 4-H Award and Angie Chapman received the Sig McCain Volunteer Leader Award!
Representative Pat Hurley, Mayor David Smith and Randolph County Manager Richard Wells were on hand to congratulate the membership. Angel Simpson, was our emcee for the evening!
Youth receiving recognition for record book completion included:Will, Avery and Riley Goodwin, Preston Long, Grayson and Zoe Roberts, Garrett and Kaley Allred, Hayden Thomas, Jesse, Rachel and Shenandoah Osborne, Mackenzie Koenig, Kaeli Chapman, Evan Gunter and Joshua and Laura Allred

Eller, Tabor Baughan, Kimberly Chapman, Eric Walden, Berenice Franco, Laura
Jane Allred, Cori Hicks, Angel Simpson and Bryant West.

Goodwin, Marjie Grubb, Kathryn Simpson, James Long and Adrianna Paschal. Jean Volrath, installed the 4-H club officers to end a very awesome evening.
